New Green Screen equipment
I recently did some portraits for a friend and discovered that it's just too hard to work with lighting you have little control over and while you can use sheets and tablecloths thumb-tacked to the wall, this is not the ideal way to do things.
eBay to the rescue! I found an inexpensive studio set with three muslin backdrops (black, white & green), a stand, 3 light boxes (using 4 bulbs each - included - 45w balanced CFLs), stands for the lights and cases to carry it all in. Below are some test shots we did immediately after opening it. We only used 2/3 of the lights and I'm not really happy with my greenscreen software, but all-in-all, not bad!
